The 2026 Ravens Offseason Blueprint….

The Baltimore Ravens are entering uncharted territory. The team is moving forward with a brand-new coaching staff led by Head Coach Jesse Minter. After an 8-9 season, the mission is clear: maximize the peak years of Lamar Jackson.

The Elephant in the Room: The Salary Cap

Currently, the Ravens sit with roughly $22 million in effective cap space (ranking 17th in the NFL). However, Lamar Jackson’s cap hit is scheduled to be a staggering $74.5 million.

The Strategy: Expect GM Eric DeCosta to prioritize a contract extension or major restructure for Lamar. Doing so could free up nearly $30M-$40M in additional space.

Cap Casualties: Keep an eye on veterans like Marlon Humphrey (post-June 1 savings of $19M) and Justice Hill ($3.1M) as potential moves to create even more breathing room.

Priority 1: Rebuilding the Trenches

The offensive line struggled with consistency in 2025. With Pro Bowl Center Tyler Linderbaum heading toward free agency, retaining him is priority #1. If they look to the draft, Penn State’s Vega Ioane at Pick #14 is a popular name to solidify the interior.

Priority 2: Finding a True Pass Rusher

The defense needs more "bite." Jesse Minter’s scheme relies on edge pressure, making players like Gabe Jacas (Illinois) or free agents like Arnold Ebiketie ideal targets to replace the aging production of Kyle Van Noy.

Draft Capital: 11 Total Picks

The Ravens are armed with a "war chest" this year, including projected compensatory picks:

Round 1: #14

Round 2: #45

Round 3: #80

Round 4: #115

Round 5: (Four selections!)

Round 7: (Two selections)

Headline: A New Era in the Vault! 😈

The Jesse Minter era has officially arrived in Baltimore, and the 2026 offseason is going to be a wild ride. Here’s everything you need to know about where our Ravens stand:

💰 THE MONEY: We’ve got about $22M in cap space right now, but Eric DeCosta is a wizard. Watch for a Lamar Jackson restructure to open up even more "play money" for free agency!

🎓 THE DRAFT: We’re picking at #14 overall. It’s our highest pick since Kyle Hamilton. Who do you want to see in purple?

• 🛡️ Vega Ioane (IOL): A beast to protect Lamar?

• 😤 Gabe Jacas (EDGE): A sack machine for the defense?

• 🚀 Ja’Kobi Lane (WR): A 6'4" weapon to pair with Zay Flowers?

✂️ VETERAN WATCH: Could this be the end of the road for some familiar faces? Decisions on Marlon Humphrey and Broderick Washington will define our budget this March.

The goal is simple: Get back to the top of the AFC North. 💍

👇 RAVENS FLOCK: If you were the GM, who is the ONE player you’re signing or drafting this year? Let’s hear it!
